Help & Support

This is a basic help page for the app. If you need more information, please email us.

The main screen shows you popular radio stations from around the world based on what users out there listen to the most. When the app is opened for the first time, these stations are cached to reduce loading times. The title bar tells you which section you are in (Trending, Search, or Favorites). Below it, you can see the number of online listeners who are using the app or the web player in that moment. This number means users who have opened the web player or the app. This number does not mean they are listening to the same radio station as you.

You can access the side menu using the icon near the section name. The main menu also has playback controls, the recently played stations option that shows a list, online status to read or post whatever is on your mind, make sure to be friendly and respect others. You also have the settings, about the app, and an option to restart or exit.

Note: Restarting the app sometimes fixes minimal issues that you may be experiencing depending on what the problem is.

The side menu allows you to choose from several genres or categories. The app will show you a list of available radio stations that match your choice. At the top of the side menu, you have a button to view the latest update sent by us regarding new features or service notices—these updates are saved in the app for your reference. You can always suggest ideas to improve Radionance and also report bugs (please include as many details as you can). To do so, just send us an email.

The player screen allows you to see details of the radio station you are listening to. It displays the current playing song (some radio stations do not offer metadata). Radionance will try to retrieve this information, if not available, it will display the station's country instead.

You can also control playback (play, pause, volume) and add or remove the station from your favorites. You may also access the station's website if you want to know more about it. If you like to go to bed listening to the radio, you can use the sleep timer option to set up a timer that will pause the playback after a while (up to 3 hours). This allows your device to save battery by not using power unnecessarily.

The playback depends on the station’s availability and the quality of your internet connection. A stable connection is essential for the app to work as expected. If the connection is lost, the app will try to reconnect automatically and continue playing. If you experience issues after reconnection, simply choose another station and the player will restart. You can always find your previously played or favorite stations in the Recently played or Favorites sections to go back and play it.

Although Radionance Webplay is available online, the Android app offers more features and a better user experience. There is no iOS version of the app yet. If you have friends or family who have devices like this you can always recommend the web player which is available at https://exeinn.altivatec.com/radionance.

Remember, if you have any suggestions or bug reports, please email us.

We appreciate you are giving Radionance a chance and we hope you enjoy the ad‑free listening experience. Please share the app with your friends and family, as your support helps us continue improving the service.
